For those brand-new to serving on a church / ministry board, this presentation gives a brief high-level overview of what governance is, how ministry governance adds another layer to regular governance, what the board’s main responsibilities are, and the different hats a ministry board member wears. Designed as an orientation session for incoming Board Interns, we’re opening it up to invite attendance from non-interns who may find a basic introductory session helpful.
The presentation will run for 25 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with the general audience. At the 30-minute mark, the public meeting will conclude, and the Board Interns will remain behind for a more extended discussion with Gary. A recording of the first 30 minutes will be provided to all registered participants after the webinar is complete, so even if you can’t attend live, register now to ensure you get the recording.
