In this webinar, aimed at The Board Internship interns, Kara Martin will explain the concept of mission drift, and help attendees recognise the tendency of all organisations to drift. She will explain the difference between mission drift and theological drift, and the difference between secularisation and unfaithfulness. The session will explore a checklist of areas that indicate unfaithfulness, generating ideas for Board agenda items to maintain faithfulness, and discuss the practice of developing a theology of governance.
The presentation will run for 25 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with the general audience. At the 30-minute mark, the public meeting will conclude, and the Board Interns will remain behind for a more extended discussion with Kara. A recording of the first 30 minutes will be provided to all registered participants after the webinar is complete, so even if you can’t attend live, register now to ensure you get the recording.
