Description

Embracing risk is not about reckless behaviour or blind faith, but about making informed, on-mission decisions that propel organisations forward in an increasingly complex and dynamic world.

This presentation dives into some key thoughts around risk-taking for directors, highlighting its strategic importance and providing actionable insights to navigate uncertainty effectively. Attendees will get some insight into understanding the core components of a risk management framework; recognising how to set a risk appetite as a board and why it is so important; learning the key things a board should be designing for in a risk strategy; and understanding how faith and risk can and should coexist in the boardroom.

The presentation will run for 25 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with the general audience. At the 30-minute mark, the public meeting will conclude, and the Board Interns will remain behind for a more extended discussion with Neil. A recording of the first 30 minutes will be provided to all registered participants after the webinar is complete, so even if you can’t attend live, register now to ensure you get the recording.
