About Us
We are a small Australian based charity dedicated to advocating for and supporting vulnerable pregnant women in Kenya. Through community outreach, we work to ensure that every woman receives the care, dignity, and support she deserves during and after pregnancy

The Role
We are seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to join our team and lead the financial oversight of the charity. This is a strategic governance role ideal for someone with experience in financial management who is passionate about using their skills to make a lasting, global impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial affairs of the charity and ensure they are within accepted accounting practices.

  • Lead on financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and risk management.

  • Present financial reports at board meetings and advise on financial strategy and sustainability.

  • Ensure proper financial records are maintained.

You Are

  • A qualified or experienced finance professional (e.g., accountant, finance manager, auditor).

  • Confident in reviewing financial reports, budgets, and compliance documents.

  • Familiar with charity finance, nonprofit reporting, or financial governance (or eager to learn).

  • Comfortable working remotely and attending online meetings every 2 months.

Desirable

  • Experience with small or growing nonprofits.

Time Commitment

  • Approximately 3–4 hours/month.

  • Includes attendance at bi-monthly board meetings (1–2 hours) and occasional ad-hoc support.
