The Role:

As the first point of contact for GMP supporters, you will play a crucial role in fostering relationships that inspire generosity and long-term engagement. Your ability to coordinate impactful events and deliver excellent supporter care will be key to helping supporters connect deeply with GMP’s mission and program partners worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Supporter Care

  • Deliver outstanding customer care by responding to supporter inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
  • Ensure supporter records are accurate and up-to-date in Salesforce.
  • Promptly express gratitude to supporters and assist with receipting as needed.

  1. Supporter Engagement & Journey

  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing supporters to inspire ongoing support.
  • Engage with supporters via outbound calls as part of fundraising appeals.
  • Support fundraising efforts and manage supporter surveys to ensure insights shape future engagement.

  1. Event Coordination

  • Coordinate inspiring supporter events (online and in-person) and discovery trips in Australia and overseas.
  • Provide logistical support for church events, fostering strong community connections.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service or supporter care.
  • Proven track record in event management (5+ years).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and receipting experience (desirable).
  • Experience in fundraising or the charity sector (desirable).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and a process-driven approach.
  • A strong team player who can meet deadlines and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A commitment to working in alignment with GMP’s Christian mission, vision, and values.
