Strategic Communications Manager (Part-Time)

And now we’re looking for a Strategic Communications Manager who can take our brand to market with clarity and purpose, ensuring more people see, hear, and respond to our mission.

If you’re a big-picture communicator who loves crafting messages that move people, build trust, and spark action — this is your role.

 

What you’ll do:

You’ll be the voice shaper, story shifter, and strategy driver behind CAP’s communications.

Your days will include: 

  • Leading an organisation-wide communications strategy
  • Protecting and elevating CAP’s brand, message, and tone of voice
  • Turning in-house content into compelling, beautifully crafted pieces that inspire engagement
  • Drawing out powerful stories from church partners, mentors and participants
  • Guiding and activating campaigns across email, digital, print, social and partner channels
  • Strengthening communication capability across teams

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Think strategically but write with heart
  • Understand Christian audiences and communicate with theological integrity
  • Love storytelling and can turn raw content into gold
  • Can lead with influence, collaboration, and clarity
  • Have experience in comms, content, journalism or PR (or similar)

 

Role details

  • Part-time — At least 3 days per week
  • Newcastle, NSW or Remote in Australia
  • 5 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
  • Hybrid working + fringe benefits
