CMS NSW & ACT invites applications for the role of Software Developer. This position is full time, based in our Sydney office.

As a Software Developer you will work closely with the Data Systems team to maintain and enhance the CMS Salesforce platform to support the work of global mission by ensuring our data systems effectively facilitate the ongoing partnership between missionaries, supporters, churches and staff.

You will be part of a growing team working towards the consolidation and management of multiple Salesforce instances and the expansion of additional Salesforce functionality, including Experience Cloud and Event Registration.

You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities include development and maintenance of web pages for campaigns, events, and the user portal.  Secondary responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Salesforce configuration changes, modifying page layouts, system upgrades, patching and maintenance, data protection and disaster recovery, system and user security, governance and compliance, system testing and sandbox development, web development and technical documentation.   

In conjunction with the Data Systems Architect and Systems Analyst, translate business needs into technical requirements and select the appropriate technology for implementation.

The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary qualifications and professional experience, as well as a demonstrated interest in world mission.

Salary is negotiable subject to qualifications, skills and experience.
