The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Pastor to lead our church in fulfilling its mission through spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, and strategic oversight. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to use your gifts in guiding and growing our congregation, developing our staff, and representing Riverlife in the broader community. Key Responsibilities:

• Vision Discernment, Casting, and Oversight: Provide mature spiritual leadership and vision for the church. Discern and articulate the vision in collaboration with the Leadership Team, Elders, staff, and key stakeholders. Oversee the accomplishment of the vision.
• Transformational Biblical Teaching: Serve as the lead preacher and teacher of the Word. Ensure the content and direction of preaching and teaching support the congregation in living faithfully in alignment with the Word.
• Leadership of Riverlife Baptist Church: Assist in facilitating the work of the Elders, sharing in governance leadership, and taking responsibility for the strategic and operational oversight of the church.
• Training and Equipping: Equip the saints for leadership and the work of ministry in the church, local community, and around the world (Ephesians 4:12), in cooperation with the pastoral staff team.
• Relationship Development: Represent Riverlife Baptist Church in the community, developing networks with other churches, local, city, and state government, and internationally.
• Staff Oversight and Responsibility: Oversee the development and implementation of operational plans, along with the professional development of the ministry pastors.
