Established in 1957, Sunnybank District Baptist Church (SDBC) is a Christ-centred, Bible teaching Church, committed to prayer, sharing the gospel and contemporary worship. With an average weekly attendance of 655, SDBC is a reasonably large church, with good facilities to support our mission of reaching our community and working with God in transforming people into passionate followers of Jesus Christ. SDBC is a multi-cultural Church with three English, one Mandarin and one Cantonese service every Sunday with three of those services live on-line each week, one in English, one in Cantonese and one in Mandarin, available on YouTube. SDBC is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to guide the church into the future.

SDBC seeks to help people connect with God, and each other, and with an outreach to the local community. SDBC is a multicultural, multigenerational church serving English, Mandarin, and Cantonese congregations with a blend of contemporary and conservative worship. We believe in equipping all believers to use their God-given gifts for His glory, and support women in ministry and the inclusion of all ages in our ministry and our worship.

Under God’s direction, the Senior Pastor (SP) will lead and facilitate SDBC’s ministries in maintaining and developing further a healthy Christian community which fulfills our Biblical mission: “Working with God in transforming people into passionate followers of Jesus”.
