Personnel Support Officer- Position Description
SIM Australia is looking for a Personnel Support Officer with a heart for God to join our team.
SIM Australia (sim.org.au) is a Christian mission agency helping to make the Gospel global. We facilitate cross-cultural workers from anywhere to everywhere to reach the least reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The role of Personnel Support Officer involves liaising with new applicants from NSW, QLD and ACT then journeying with them administratively through their application process. The role does not end once they depart for their field of service, however, you will have an ongoing role in supporting them as members with SIM, while serving in the field and during home assignment in Australia.
This is a part-time (0.6) position, ideally based in the SIM Australia Sydney office, although a hybrid work from home scenario is acceptable. The role will be on a 12-month fixed contract initially with the possibility of becoming permanent.
