Pastor Position available to lead our congregation forward

Who are we;

We are an independent Church associated with a group of other independent Churches called the Churches of Christ in Queensland. Chinchilla is a rural town located in the Western Downs Region, QLD, approximately 3.5hrs west of Brisbane and has an approximate population of 7000. There are good schools, community groups, facilities and a strong community environment.

Who are you;

We are seeking a fulltime pastor with the ability to lead the mission here while holding to a strong commitment to teaching God’s word and caring for His people.

Desirables:

• Working with the current leadership and congregation to build a mission and ministry expression relevant for our western regional rural community.
• Ministry Team leadership and strategic planning, including leadership development.
• Outreach into the community as an expression of Christian faith and worship, while remaining aware of the needs of our existing members
• Preaching, Teaching, Praying, Pastoral Care (as part of a larger team)
• Registered minister of Churches of Christ in Qld or able to obtain
• Current drivers license

Additionally, candidates should have a strong background in Biblical knowledge and the ability to apply it to everyday life.
