About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring and Christ-centred Educational Leader to guide the learning and quality practices across our OSHC service.

Working closely with the OSHC Manager, your role focuses on:

 
Program Design & Learning Quality

  • Plan and design engaging programs based on children’s interests
  • Ensure all experiences align with My Time, Our Place
  • Support the service’s Quality Improvement Plan

Mentoring & Leading Educators

  • Build educator capability through coaching and reflective practice
  • Model intentional teaching and child-centred learning
  • Help educators embed Christian values in nurturing, relational ways

Strengthening Pedagogy & Practice

  • Evaluate programs and learning outcomes
  • Promote inclusive, creative and developmentally appropriate experiences
  • Support continuous improvement of teaching practice

Note: The OSHC Manager oversees compliance, operations and family communication.

About Northside Christian College

We operate an out-of-school hours care and vacation care program on the Northside Christian College campus. Each day is filled with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities guided by children’s interests and abilities.

You’ll join a caring, faith-filled community where innovative ideas are welcomed and lifelong relationships are built. Staff feel supported to grow both professionally and spiritually.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor of Education (preferred) or a Diploma of Education and Care or an ACECQA approved qualification
  • A genuine, active Christian faith
  • Strong knowledge of the NQF, My Time Our Place, and learning frameworks
  • Experience coaching or mentoring educators
  • Creativity, organisation and a passion for inspiring children
  • Warm, collaborative communication skills
  • Willingness to act as a Responsible Person if required
