OPERATIONS MANAGER
The Belgrave Heights Convention conducts several Bible teaching conventions each year at its property in the southern Dandenong Ranges, east of Melbourne. The Convention is nearing completion of a major property upgrade to support its ministry and seeks to utilise the potential of the new developments.
A new position of Operations Manager is being created to oversee operations and to facilitate growth. The new accommodation provides for 224 people and works with extensive existing facilities, including 200 beds and a 1,640 seat auditorium, to provide for flexible usage for clients.
Desirable attributes include the ability to prioritise and plan ahead, to deal well with people (in the operation of conventions, with external clients and staff). The ability to understand and work in an increasingly computerised environment is essential. Business development to achieve high utilisation of the property is a major part of the role.
This is a full-time position and will require availability at our major convention events.
