About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Digital Engagement team to deliver meaningful and effective connections with our audience, in line with our Digital Engagement Strategy. As Multimedia Developer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, building and maintaining websites and web applications. You will create high-quality digital assets to enhance engagement across PositiveMedia’s digital channels. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver on-brand and effective digital content across all PositiveMedia platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scope, design, develop and continually improve websites in support of our various radio stations, shows, podcasts and our business development team

  • Manage all PositiveMedia websites, ensuring 99%+ uptime

  • Optimise websites to maximise user traffic and content engagement

  • Manage the development, staging and production hosting environments of websites

  • Manage SSL, enforce HTTPS and ensure malware scanning and removal is operative

  • Provide support for PositiveMedia’s use of music player apps, and maximise opportunities for integration with our websites

  • Work closely with the Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinators to create and promote social and digital marketing content via our web assets

  • Proactively work with key stakeholders within the organisation to design multimedia elements that consistently adhere to the brand guidelines.

 

About You

We are seeking a skilled, experienced and collaborative digital marketing professional. To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Technical knowledge and experience in web and app development (WordPress, BrickBuilder)

  • Hosting management experience (WordPress, cPanel or similar)

  • JavaScript/TypeScript and HTML/CSS

  • App development language such as Swift or React Native

  • DNS, SSL, CDN management (eg. Cloudflare)

  • Multimedia production skills and experience, including audio and video, preferred but not essential

  • Experience and/or skills in graphic design highly regarded but not essential

  • Solid project management skills

  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships

  • Tertiary qualification in the discipline Web Development or an equivalent mix of experience and expertise
