Entrust Foundation exists to see the lives of the poor and oppressed transformed through effective, sustainable community development. We partner with overseas emerging and established organisations that are on the ground delivering much needed aid, relief and development to some of the hardest places around the world. We also partner with everyday generous Australians who want to support these high-impact local partners, helping to resource their projects that bring clean water, education, safety and security, economic empowerment, spiritual wellbeing and emergency relief; and ultimately hope for a brighter future. We currently have projects in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Uganda and Zimbabwe.

The Opportunity 

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate International Partnerships Manager to oversee Entrust Foundation’s portfolio of international development and ministry projects. This is an exciting opportunity to build strong relationships with overseas partners, help ensure projects achieve meaningful outcomes, and contribute to lasting change in vulnerable communities around the world. 

About the Role 

You’ll join a small, purpose-driven team where your contribution will have a direct impact. Working closely with the CEO, you’ll take responsibility for managing Entrust Foundation’s project portfolio and partner relationships. You’ll help ensure projects are well designed, effectively monitored, appropriately funded and aligned with organisation’s vision and values.

The role combines project management, relationship management, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, due diligence and strategic thinking. It would suit someone who enjoys balancing detail with big-picture impact and who thrives in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

What You’ll Do 

  • Manage Entrust Foundations portfolio of international development and ministry projects from approval through to completion.

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with overseas project partners.

  • Review funding applications, budgets, reports and project outcomes.

  • Assist partners in project monitoring, training and evaluation.

  • Assist partners to strengthen project design, implementation and reporting.

  • Conduct due diligence and ensure projects meet governance and compliance requirements.

  • Prepare reports and recommendations for management and board committees.

  • Support donor engagement by helping communicate project impact and outcomes.

  • Contribute to strategy, planning and continuous improvement across Entrust’s programs.

  • Undertake occasional overseas travel to visit projects and strengthen partner relationships.

  • Bring a positive, collaborative spirit to a team that values humour, kindness and purpose. 

Who You Are 

  • An experienced project, program or partnership professional with strong organisational skills.

  • Someone with an active Christian faith.

  • Passionate about international development, poverty alleviation and community transformation.

  • An excellent relationship builder who communicates with warmth, professionalism and cultural sensitivity.

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities.

  • A strong writer with the ability to analyse information and prepare high-quality reports.

  • Curious, strategic and able to see both the detail and the bigger picture.

  • Experienced in monitoring and evaluation, project management or community development (desirable).

  • Able to work independently while collaborating within a small team.

  • Aligned with the Mission, Vision, Values and Ethos of Entrust Foundation.

  • Respectful and comfortable working within a Christian faith-based organisation.

  • Positive, proactive and committed to serving others with excellence.

  • Time: 22.8 hours per week (0.6 FTE), with flexibility in how hours are worked across the week

  • Location: Hybrid/flexible (with regular attendance in the Blackburn North office on Wednesdays)

  • Start: Flexible

  • Term: Ongoing (with 6-month probation period)

  • Some independent international travel will be required
