Interim Senior Minister (Part-Time or Full-Time)

We’re seeking a spiritually grounded executive leader to guide our multicultural congregation through a season of transition and renewal.

 

About the Role
As Interim Senior Minister, you’ll provide biblical preaching, leadership, and pastoral care while partnering with our Board to navigate relocation and prepare for future permanent leadership. You’ll champion cross-cultural unity, mentor ministry staff, and foster community engagement in one of Melbourne’s most diverse regions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Preach and teach with theological depth and pastoral warmth

  • Lead ministry initiatives that reflect our multicultural identity

  • Support staff and lay leaders through mentoring and supervision

  • Cultivate partnerships and outreach in the local community

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Deep Christian faith and alignment with biblical eldership

  • Theological qualifications (Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred)

  • Proven senior ministry experience (5+ years)

  • Strength in multicultural ministry and relational leadership

  • CCVT accreditation (or willingness to obtain)

 

Details

  • Location: City of Monash, Melbourne

  • Employment: 0.6 FTE or 1.0 FTE

  • Remuneration: Competitive salary + professional development support
