Mukti has been supporting our partners since 1903 here in Australia. They have been providing safe housing (India) , healthcare, and vocational training; Mukti works to break the cycle of poverty and abuse. Our holistic approach addresses immediate needs and equips individuals with the tools to create sustainable, positive change in their communities. Through partnerships and grassroots efforts, Mukti has significantly impacted thousands of women’s lives, “Making freedom a reality for women and children in India and Sri Lanka.”

The Position:

Reporting to and working closely with the Mukti National Director, you will be a key Executive Leadership team member overseeing and enhancing the day-to-day finance and operating Activities. This critical role involves Finance, Human Resources, and Administration responsibility, ensuring that Mukti’s resources are effectively stewarded.

The role is full-time with the option of reverting to being .8.

Mukti is looking for someone who can lead and manage a team and work independently and is passionate about using their skills and experience to contribute to making a difference.

  • Is proactive, with good problem-solving abilities
  • Is experienced in finance and financial & management reporting.
  • Has high level administration and organisational skills
  • Is experienced in management and leadership roles
  • Has strong operational skills including ability to organise staff, allocate resources, manage performance, build systems, manage projects
  • Has excellent IT skills and experience with the MS Office, Mailchimp, email management
  • Strong understanding and sensitivity of cross-cultural issues
