Finance Manager

For Commencement Term 2 2024 or by negotiation

Maitland Christian School is a growing ELC-12 School of over 700 students located in the rural suburb of Metford, NSW. Maitland Christian School is a member of Christian Schools Australia (CSA) and the Association of Independent Schools (AIS).

The role of Finance Manager at Maitland Christian School is a strategic support position which reports to the Head of Operations. As a capable and relational team member, the Finance Manager is responsible for managing the administration of the finances for Maitland Christian School Limited’s campuses and interests, including Maitland Christian School, Arise Christian College, and Valley Village Early Learning.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Finance Manager.  The successful applicant will have:  

  • Suitable qualifications including either CA or CPA;
  • Experience in Accounting and Financial Management;
  • Experience working collaboratively, with strong team-working and interpersonal skills ;
  • Demonstrated strategic planning abilities in relation to finance systems;
  • Appropriate experience in industry or schools is desirable;

 

The successful applicant must be a committed Christian who is active in a local church and be prepared to subscribe to the school’s Statement of Faith. The role has opportunity for flexible working, and includes additional paid leave.
