About the role:
This role is crucial in ensuring that the CEO can effectively lead Tearfund and fulfill our mission.
It combines operational coordination, stakeholder management, communication and trusted executive support. It provides high level, confidential, administrative and operational support to ensure effectiveness, functionality and responsiveness by the CEO in making decisions regarding programs and activities. The coordination of the CEO’s diary and communication between the CEO, staff team, members, stakeholders, funders, and the Board is a core part of the role.
The ideal candidate will bring a personal passion to see issues of poverty and justice addressed as well as exceptional organisational skills, and the confidence to work autonomously while building flourishing relationships. You will demonstrate sound judgement, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality under limited direction.
