ELC Director – Cooloola Christian College Early Learning Centre

We are a P-12 Christian College which includes an Early Learning Centre, situated on Gympie’s Southside.  Our ELC offers rich play-based learning education in a modern and engaging setting for children aged from 15 months to Kindergarten and Outside School Hours Care.

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds in a Christian environment? We’re seeking a dedicated Director to lead our Early Learning Centre team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership in line with Christian values and principles.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and excellence among staff, parents, and the community.
  • Implement curriculum and educational programs that promote holistic development.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and uphold the highest standards of care and professionalism.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in an early learning setting.
  • Strong understanding of Christian faith and values, with a commitment to integrating them into the curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification.
