Christian Heritage College (CHC) has an exciting opportunity for someone with unique skills to fill a dual role within our Operations team. We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst who also has some great Administration and Customer Service skills to double as our Student Administration Assistant.

Key Objectives of this role:

  1. Survey and Feedback Management
    Manage and administer all CHC surveys to collect feedback from stakeholders including students, graduates, and staff. Ensure timely analysis and dissemination of results to inform institutional improvement and enhance the student and staff experience.
  2. Data Collection and Compliance Reporting
    Oversee the collection and maintenance of student enrolment and staff data in accordance with legislative requirements. Prepare and submit accurate reports to regulatory bodies such as TEQSA and the Department of Education, including TCSI reporting.
  3. Data Analysis and Quality Insights
    Conduct high-level analysis of data from surveys, enrolments, and focus groups to evaluate organisational performance, teaching and learning effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction. Provide actionable insights to support continuous quality improvement.
  4. Data Provision for Quality Management
    Deliver relevant data and analytical reports to the Director of Quality and Standards (Registry) and other stakeholders to support strategic planning, compliance, and quality assurance initiatives.
  5. Administrative and Student Support
    Provide administrative support to Student Administration and Admissions Officers, ensuring efficient processing of student applications and records in line with institutional policies and procedures.
  6. Enhancing Student Experience and Institutional Engagement
    Contribute to a positive student experience by supporting institutional events, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and streamlining academic and administrative processes.

This is a full-time, Monday – Friday, role at above Award rate, based at our campus in Carindale, QLD.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Education and Experience

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in statistics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training, and/or experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in a high-level administrative role, preferably within a tertiary education environment, with experience in quality management considered advantageous.

Technical and Analytical Competence

  • A thorough understanding of statistical analysis, data management, and reporting.
  • High-level problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data systems and standard computing packages, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Power BI, Meshed, or similar data analysis and student management systems.

Organisational and Project Management Skills

  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, navigate competing priorities, and meet deadlines proactively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, interpret policy, follow procedures, and achieve goals.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity to privacy issues.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to write clear, precise reports and present findings effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate across departments.
