About this Role

In this role you will provide administrative support and coordination for PositiveMedia’s People and Culture (P&C) function, with a special focus on volunteers.

We are committed to fostering a culture where people are valued and reach their potential by using their God-given strengths. We do this by attracting, developing and retaining excellent people, and providing the systems, processes and support for them to thrive.

As Coordinator, Volunteers and P&C, you will help make this happen by support all aspects of the Volunteer Program and P&C function.   

This role reports to the P&C Business Partner and will work across the organisation as required.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

With guidance from the P&C Business Partner:

  • Provide administrative support and coordination for recruitment, induction and compliance-related activities for staff and volunteers
  • Maintain P&C records and systems as required
  • Assist with updating policies and processes as required
  • Champion the importance of volunteers, and consult and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation in volunteer matters
  • Refine and document PositiveMedia’s process for sourcing, engaging and supporting volunteers
  • Foster connections with local churches by supporting the establishment of regular contact with key members of TheLight Family (volunteers)

 

About You

To thrive in this role you will be:

  • Experienced in providing administrative support (experience in People and Culture/HR preferred but not essential)
  • Able to demonstrate your ability to improve and document processes
  • People focused, with the ability to confidently build and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Able to deliver results, focusing on achieving goals and delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Proactive and resourceful, with the initiative to identify and act on tasks
  • An excellent communicator, with a focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to thoroughness, ensuring work is complete and accurate
  • Technologically confident, with experience using systems to manage records and improve processes
  • Passionate about supporting our mission at PositiveMedia, and committed to contributing to our vision to see “Every life alight with the love of Jesus”
