Business Manager
Full Time (flexible) | Anglesea (preferred) or Tynong North, Victoria

Are you a strategic thinker with a heart for Christian ministry and a head for business?

Baptist Camping Victoria is a not-for-profit Christian organisation operating regional campsites across Victoria. Year upon year, we host a diverse range of groups — including schools, churches, youth and children’s groups, community organisations, and our own ministry camps. At the heart of it all, we seek to create spaces where people can connect deeply with one another and with God.

Through gospel-centred ministry camps, church partnerships, and rhythms of retreat, BCV provides environments where the gospel is proclaimed, discipleship is nurtured, and Christian community is strengthened.

We are seeking a Business Manager to steward and strengthen this work by leading the financial and operational systems that underpin our ministry.

Reporting to the Director of Camping, this is a senior leadership role encompassing:

  • Financial leadership: managing budgeting, reporting, analysis, and supporting stewardship across all sites

  • Compliance and governance: overseeing ACNC, ATO, policy, and risk obligations to ensure legal and ethical operations

  • Human resource support: guiding recruitment, onboarding, performance management and organisational culture

  • Contract and systems management: ensuring smooth and efficient operations through oversight of key supplier relationships and business continuity planning

  • Strategic contribution: presenting insights to the Director of Camping and BCV Board, building business cases, and helping shape ministry impact through effective resource use

You will bring:

  • CA or CPA qualification and significant experience in business or financial management

  • Excellent organisational, communication and analytical skills

  • Confidence navigating policy, risk, systems, and compliance

  • A mature and personal Christian faith, with a heart for ministry and service

Location: Anglesea (preferred) or Tynong North, with regular travel to other sites.
