ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of Christian Finance and supporting informed business decision making.   You will be responsible for a diverse range of accounting, compliance and financial management activities, while contributing to continuous improvement across our finance function.

  • Support month-end close processes, preparation of journals, and balance sheet
  • Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, corporate cards, and fixed assets
  • Support BAS, GST, statutory reporting, and external audits
  • Process investment transactions, income collection, trust accounting, and unit pricing activities
  • Analyse financial data and provided insights to support sound business decision.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, controls, and processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation and provide support to the Financial Controller as required. 

ABOUT YOU

  • Have a personal active Christian faith.
  • Be supportive of Christian Finance vision, mission, and values.
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CA/CPA qualification will be viewed favourably.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in accounting and finance industry, with demonstrated experience across the responsibilities of this role.
  • Fund Accounting experience will be viewed favourably
  • In depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software (or similar) and strong excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
