Five new accredited Partners!

At the CMA Conference held on 28 and 29 May 2024. the CMA Standards Council announced the accreditation of

  • Anglican Insurance and Risk Services (AIRS),
  • Baptist Financial Services,
  • Clayton Church of Christ and
  • YouthCare.

“These four organisations have shown that they are committed to good governance, transparency and accountability by meeting all of the CMA Standards Council’s Principles and Standards”, said Steve Kerr, the Executive Director of the Standards Council, when they were presented with their Certificates at the Conference by Steve Slade, the Chair of CMA.

“Their integrity and diligence set an example of how Christian organisations are prepared to be accountable and go even further in that regard than they are required by the normal regulatory requirements” Steve Kerr said. “Our Partners honour God by acting honourably – to use the words of St Paul in 2 Corinthians 8: 21 they are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of God, but also in the eyes of the watching world”.

This brings the number of accredited Partners at the CMA Standards Council to 28. The Trustees of the Diocese of Tasmania, which was accredited in September 2023, also received its Certificate at the Conference.
