The CMA Fundraising Network serves several purposes:

To provide a safe and supportive community where Christians who are involved in fundraising can meet other Christians in similar roles, form meaningful relationships, and learn from and with each other in order to nourish their organisations and improve their practice.

To grow an understanding of how fundraising that is consistent with Scriptural principles may differ at times from mainstream fundraising.

To offer professional development opportunities for those unable to participate in more mainstream fundraising learning activities, or who seek PD from Christian professionals.

To develop and nurture fundraising talent that will be the future of growth for many churches and ministries around Australia.

To inspire Christians who are involved in fundraising to grow in their faith, and in their understanding of how their faith interacts with their fundraising call and role.

To see more financial resources released so that the churches and ministries that are pursuing Christian objectives can be more effective in their mission.

To foster a spirit of Kingdom collaboration within the fundraising community, and to play a role in facilitating that collaboration.

To give a platform for the collective voice of Christian fundraisers on issues where something needs to be said to audiences outside the network.

To stimulate, encourage and champion the place of prayer as a central practice in the ministry of fundraising.
