We believe God bought us together.
CMA had been planning to start a fundraising network in 2024, but plans were fairly loose. Unknown to us, June and Sharyn – both professionals in the fundraising field – were thinking the same thing. When they contacted us to ask whether we’d like to be involved, we quickly saw a convergence of where God had been leading us, so we joined forces. In a separate conversation, Peter told us how much he loved the ministry of fundraising, and when he heard we were forming a fundraising network for Christians, he offered to serve and we accepted!
Meanwhile, Ben had already identified the need for Christian fundraisers to have the opportunity to get together, so he contacted CMA. Recognising that his heart was pointed in the same direction, we saw a providential alignment and invited him to join the committee. And Alicia – the latest committee member – has been a CMA friend and professional fundraiser in Sydney for many years, so when we thought it would help to have a colleague on the ground in Sydney, we invited Alicia – and here we are!
