About the role

Your new job title will be People Services Administrator and you will report to the People Services Manager. You will provide a high level of support to all SUA people by:

  • Being the first point of contact for all People Services telephone enquiries
  • Demonstrating an exceptional level of customer service to all SUA people
  • Managing all new starter documents and administration
  • Processing all employment contract changes for existing staff
  • Managing the People Services incoming/outgoing mail and email ticketing system
  • Processing all Working with Children compliance and renewals for all staff
  • Other general administration duties as required by the People Services team.

To be successful in this role, you will be someone who is a self-starter with excellent time management skills. You will have proven ability to work autonomously when you are working from home and you also enjoy working in a team in an office environment. Your administrative skills and attention to detail are exceptional and you have great methods for following up on tasks to ensure nothing is left undone.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in an administrative role
  • Qualifications in Business or Human Resources (or equivalent) are desirable (or progress towards these)
  • Foundation skills with an HRIS or payroll system is preferred (particularly Aurion)
  • High level written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills in a professional environment
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Office programs
