With proximity to Newcastle and nearness to Sydney, all of the benefits of regional NSW living are available while accessing more extensive city opportunities.

With solid growth in the quality and reputation of the School in the local community, student numbers, organisational capacity and facilities are rapidly expanding. Maitland Christian School is excited to be seeking expressions of interest for the role of Head of Primary (expected to be Coordinator 3) commencing at the start of the 2022 school year.

This new executive position is a strategic leadership role working closely with the Principal and as part of the School's Strategic Leadership Team. The role is ideally suited to a candidate with the skillset suitable for further growth into potential Deputy Principal or Principal positions in the future but would also suit a talented leader able to flourish in this role as a career milestone.

Reasonable relocation costs will be available to assist the right applicant should this be required. Requests for further information should be directed to:

Salary will align with NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 at the successful applicant's level of responsibility and experience. Given the size of the School at present and the supporting leadership structure, a teaching load will likely form part of the role.

Following the closure of applications, the School's Selection Committee will consider applications and prepare a shortlist of candidates for interview. The School may move more quickly to interview highly suitable applicants. It is expected that at least one round of interviews will be undertaken with the successful applicant appointed to the School staff, commencing duties at the beginning of Term One 2022.

Applications close Friday, September 17, 2021.
