Training Coordinator – Quality and Compliance

Do you enjoy helping people learn, expand their skills, and grow in their personal development?

CRU has a unique opportunity for a passionate Training Coordinator in Quality and Compliance to join its fantastic Training team.

Based at CRU’s Galston Gorge campsite, surrounded by beautiful bush views, you will be primarily involved in maintaining quality and compliance in the operations of CRU Training as well as delivering training. This will involve administration of student progress, maintaining and designing systems, and reviewing operations against relevant policies and standards.

Whilst there is a high administrative component to the role, you will have the opportunity to lead on camps for the purpose of assessing units of competency and contributing to the ministry of CRU Educational camps (fully-programmed school camps).

CRU is a Bible-based, interdenominational Christian youth organisation whose vision is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the students of the independent schools of Australia, to nurture Christians, encourage church membership and train young Christians for a life of servant leadership.

CRU Training is an internal institution within CRU and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We provide nationally recognised qualifications in the fields of Outdoor Leadership, Christian Ministry and First Aid. Additionally, the RTO staff are involved in the design and delivery of other in-house training such as the Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion Course and outdoor activity training.

Your experience working within the VET sector, particularly in Training and Assessment or compliance related tasks will be regarded highly, although not essential.

We are most keen to consider:

  • Your mature and consistent Christian faith which is evident in your active involvement in a Christian church with sound Biblical teaching.
  • A full agreement with CRU’s ‘Basis of Belief”.
  • A desire to work closely with RTO staff in development and implementing training programs
  • Proven experience in creating and managing organisational documents and record keeping systems.
  • Exceptional organisation skills and office efficiency.
