RTO Principal Executive Officer

Hope College        

Hope College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and CRICOS provider delivering high quality training for over twenty years specialising in the delivery of Christian Ministry and Theology, Chaplaincy, and Individual Support training.

About this role

This is a full time position based on the Gold Coast, Queensland.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of day to day activities of Hope College as part of the ministry of Hope Church.

The key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide leadership and oversight of Hope College staff and operations
  • Oversee all compliance activities relating to the RTO, including continued compliance with the standards for RTOs 2015
  • Oversee all compliance activities relating to CRICOS, including continued compliance with the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code 2018
  • Be responsible for all ASQA reporting requirements including CRICOS, AVETMISS and Quality Indicators
  • Conduct training and assessment in Christian Ministry and Theology
  • Design, develop and review training programs to meet industry standards
  • Reporting to the Senior Pastor and Directors of the company

Required Qualifications:

  • A recognised Christian Ministry and/or Theology qualification at AQF level 7 or above
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Hold convictions which align with the doctrinal position of Australian Christian Churches
  • Proven leadership, management and communication skills
  • Proven understanding of VET and CRICOS systems and processes, as well as  experience in ensuring these systems and processes are maintained to a compliant standard
  • Experience of interacting with Government funding bodies desirable but not essential
  • A recognised ministerial credential would be desirable but not essential
