Administration Specialist - (Full-time Maternity Leave Cover)

Bethany Christian Care is an established Residential Aged Care provider and Retirement Village operator based on the southside of Brisbane, with a mission of providing loving, person-centred, non-discriminatory, excellent Christian care, covering the full spectrum of older people’s accommodation and care needs.

With campuses at Eight Mile Plains, Manly West and Graceville, Bethany Christian Care provides accommodation and care for up to 500 residents occupying 217 aged care beds and 227 independent living units/ serviced apartments.


The Role

The Administration Specialist role is located at our Head Office at Eight Mile Plains.

The role exists to perform higher level administrative duties and provide specialised personal/ program support for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

This includes:

  • Personal/ Program support to the CEO and other ELT members.
  • Reception duties for Head Office.
  • Higher Level Administrative Duties.
  • Graphics/ Desktop Publishing - Assist with the design and production of corporate promotional material and compilation of marketing material, including promotional packs for distribution to Facilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High levels of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in higher level administration tasks and duties, including personal/ program support for the Executive Leadership.
  • Demonstrated flair for graphic design and advanced skills in desktop publishing software, preferably, Adobe, Indesign and Photoshop.
  • Ability to demonstrate high standards of quality output, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated high levels of flexibility, time management and problem-solving skills.


The Person

You will possess:

  • The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

This position would ideally suit a practising Christian – someone who can not only contribute to the Facility's atmosphere of love and care, but be passionate about the outworking of our Christian philosophy.

We offer above-Award wages/ conditions, which can be boosted by "Salary Packaging" (which allows up to $15,899 of your salary – or more if you avail yourself of a Meals/Entertainment Card and other "packaging" avenues such as holiday accommodation expenses – to be paid completely tax-free).
