Artificial Intelligence (AI) isn’t on the horizon, it’s here now. AI champions tell us it will increase the efficiency, reach and outcomes of our charities exponentially. Sceptics say it just produces ‘stuff’ really really fast, but needs enormous amounts of human oversight to impose quality control – promising only modest net gains or, at worst, considerable distraction. What are your experiences in ministry so far? Let’s talk about how you are using it, or planning to use it. Marketing? Fundraising? Policy development? Risk management? Getting more done with less staff? Whole new strategic possibilities?
Join CMA members in a two-stage discussion about AI in ministry. The first session, on December 13th, will have no formal presentations, but just a couple of CMA members to get us started with their experiences and thoughts about AI in ministry. The rest of the time will be an opportunity for those present to inform each other about what they have done, are doing, or are exploring, regarding AI in the workplace, in governance, in fundraising, in HR, in developing and executing new strategies. The second session, on January 31st, will springboard from what is discussed in session 1, and involve a few short presentations on AI in ministry from practitioners and experts who are actually doing things now, and what they are discovering, followed by open-ended discussion among those present.
These discussions will NOT be recorded, to allow for free-flowing discussion, so you need to be present in order to participate.
