Purpose 

Make a meaningful impact: Drive positive change for hundreds of residents, unifying five distinct communities into a cohesive, resident-focused environment guided by Christian values.

As Village General Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of revolutionising Seniors Living. Play a key role in the implementation of Anglicare’s innovative “For Life” model at our expansive 120-acre Castle Hill site. This role combines commercial acumen with a genuine commitment to Anglicare’s Christian values, driving positive change for our residents, staff and the broader community. 

During the implementation of the ‘For Life’ model, you will be instrumental in leading this change onsite, acting as the key change champion uniting and empathising with residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation unifying five distinct communities 
  • Implement the “For Life” model, integrating enhanced care services and lifestyle options 
  • Develop and foster a unified site culture where all residents and staff are loved, matter, and belong
  • Oversee care services, ensuring residents’ well-being, dignity, and individual preferences are prioritised
  • Manage substantial resources dedicated to this transformation, ensuring efficient and effective deployment
  • Drive operational excellence across all village services and amenities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective occupancy strategies
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements
  • Provide strategic, financial, and operational insights to the seniors living leadership team 

 

About You

  • Proven leadership experience at senior management level
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with a genuine commitment to Anglicare’s values
  • Solution orientated to continuously improve resident experiences and operational performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport
  • Change management expertise and the ability to lead teams through significant transformation
  • Server leader who motivates, develops and empowers teams towards operational excellence 
  • Empathetic approach to resident care and well-being
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute complex plans
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 360 Suite applications
  • Current RSA for operations in NSW (or willingness to obtain).
