The Role

As the Ministry Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead Church Vision: Collaborate with the Governance Team to discern and articulate God’s vision for the church, setting strategic goals to guide the ministry team.
  • Missional Expression: Support and expand local and overseas mission initiatives, fostering creative ways to express the church’s heart for mission and community impact.
  • Leading Ministry Team: Lead and pastor the ministry team, nurturing their personal and spiritual growth, building unity, and identifying and mentoring future leaders.
  • Discipleship Culture: Cultivate a discipleship culture that emphasizes small groups, mentoring, and equipping members to live out their faith in daily life.
  • Leading Multigenerational and Multicultural Congregation: Shepherd a diverse congregation, fostering unity and growth in faith while embracing a contemporary worship style that resonates across generations and cultures.
  • Leadership of Teaching and Preaching: Lead and mentor the teaching and preaching team, ensuring biblically sound and engaging messages. Exhibit strong personal teaching and communication skills.

About you

You are a servant-hearted leader with:

  • Proven ability to lead a ministry team, foster unity, and deliver on the church’s vision.
  • Experience in a senior pastor or equivalent leadership role.
  • Demonstrated skill in clearly articulating scriptural truths and applications.
  • A deep and growing relationship with Jesus, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance.
  • Strong communication and biblical teaching skills.
  • A commitment to fostering unity and personal connection within a diverse church family.
  • Relevant theological qualifications (minimum Bachelor level) with ongoing professional development.
