StayKCC is the group accommodation and event venue owned and operated by Katoomba Christian Convention (KCC). Situated on the edge of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, it has a unique offering now recognised by the Blue Mountains Tourism Authority. Spread over 10ha comprising 6 separate accommodation centres for groups ranging from 15 to 170 with a total capacity of 700, the site also offers a 2100-seat auditorium, powered camping grounds and its own car parking.

StayKCC currently caters to a rapidly growing number of churches, schools, interest groups and large, notable, commercial events as well as KCC’s own conventions. Its distinctive combination of accommodation for every group size and budget, great food and its fantastic location extends a ‘total mountaintop experience’.

The Role

The role of Manager – StayKCC has total oversight of StayKCC. It leads a dedicated team on-site that includes facilities, events, logistics and guest relations. It also fosters important partnerships in the food and beverage, hospitality, events and conferencing sectors.

This role will expand the reach of StayKCC in its strategic vision for growth both in its service and accommodation offerings. It is the ‘face’ of StayKCC and the chief guest-relations champion. Reporting to the Executive Director and supported by the team at the Head Office in Burwood, the Manager – StayKCC is an integral part of KCC’s leadership team.

KCC’s Mission and Values determine that this role will suit an evangelical Christian with an active church life. Already a leader of teams, your knowledge of best standards in the hospitality sector and its prevailing trends in the Blue Mountains and beyond will be valued. Experience in contemporary business and/or marketing disciplines is a definite advantage.
