2024 Conference Theme: ‘Redemptive’

For years, CMA has spoken about the progression from compliance, to effectiveness, to excellence. But according to the authors of ‘Redemptive Nonprofits’, we should be seeking something beyond excellent: redemptive. Redemptive organisations are those that recognise dignity and agency among those we serve by restoring the relationships that were the original, personal heart of God’s vision for just charity.

Join us in 2024 as we explore how this theme of redemptive influences our governance, finance and people operations, how it focuses our leadership, and how it applies across the church, ministry and business facets of organisational life.

Get in early for 2024!

Scores of our 2023 delegates have already registered for 2024, and now is the time to get the Extra-Super-Earlybird pricing! Register by July 7th to beat the price-rise, and you’ll also go in the draw to win one night’s free accommodation at the Novotel South Wharf on May 28th!

Redemption is beautiful, and we are on the lookout for illustrations and stores of how Christian organisations in Australia have participated in or experienced something that has been truly redemptive.

The short book is fully online at https://www.redemptivenonprofit.org but we also have 20 copies of the print version to give away, to the first 20 people who contact us and tell us the story of how an organisation has done something or behaved in a way that was redemptive. Email your story to Gary Williams, gary@cma.net.au and we’ll send you a complimentary copy!
