Please join us for our first CBD Business Breakfast of 2018, featuring Barney Zwartz.

Barney was an Age journalist for 32 years, and worked as letters editor, opinion editor, chief sub-editor, and religion editor, the latter for the last 12 years of his time with Fairfax. Winning several awards, he covered two papal conclaves in Rome, the clergy sexual abuse crisis, and issues around Islam, among other subjects. He retired in 2013, but still writes about classical music and opera for The Sydney Morning Herald and Age, and has a regular faith column for the Sunday Age.

At this CMA Breakfast function, he will address ‘The Challenge of Secularism’. Barney believes that this subject is the biggest issue facing the Church / Christian Ministries today. God’s  calling on Barney’s life will challenge us all and act as a spur to how best to manage the shift away from our Judeo/ Christian heritage, which is taking place in Australia today .
