Mark Sneddon has been a Christian and a lawyer for 30 years - as a law professor, law firm partner and Crown Counsel to the Victorian government. Mark is married with two children and attends St Alfred's Anglican Church in Blackburn North.

In 2016 with friends he started a new think tank - the Institute for Civil Society ( ICS advocates to promote Judeo-Christian values, traditional freedoms of expression, conscience and religion and civil debate in our divided pluralist culture. ICS tries to speak with respect and humility to Australians from many backgrounds to persuade as many as possible. ICS’s advocacy was key in helping to defeat the Victorian government’s laws to restrict religious hiring freedoms last year.
