Studio B specialises in working with church communities to make their buildings and land fully serve their mission in the 21st-century. It applies the complimentary architectural skills of the team and brings in other specialists when needed.
- Studio B's director, Fred Batterton is the author of "Making Property Serve Mission - Rethinking the Churches Buildings for the 21st Century”. This is a guidebook for church leaders on how buildings and land can be more effective in supporting the work of the church.
- To help clients, Studio B has developed a Missional Identity Master Planning Process as a precursor to the normal architectural service. A two-stage questionnaire process assists churches to identify the specific mission calling and then review each part of their property in service of that mission.
- Studio B has assisted with repair, adaptation and renovation of Heritage buildings.
