This is a full-time position but a part-time role will be considered. It represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and dedicated team serving the congregations and agencies of the Churches of Christ in Victoria and Tasmania.

The purpose of the Projects and Process Administrator (Communities and Leadership Team) is to assist with the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the processes and requirements for providing affiliated churches and agencies with Ministry Accreditation and Endorsement, Affiliation, Ministry Supervision, Marriage Licences, and Safe Places policy development and implementation.


  1. Manage processes and administration related to Ministry Accreditation, and Endorsement, Ministry Supervision, and Marriage Licensing (handle enquiries, data entry, word processing, customer service), including the annual and three-yearly review of marriage licences and church/agency accreditation.
  2. Assist the Leadership Team with the strategic rollout of plans relating to CCVT's Accreditation and Endorsement of People in Ministry policy and its Marriage License policy.
  3. Assist the Leadership Team with the development of guidelines/policy relating to the Affiliation of new churches or agencies, completing due diligence, background research, and the processing of affiliation applications.
  4. Create and update Salesforce database records, especially those related to Accreditation, Endorsement, Affiliation, Supervision, Marriage Licences, and minister, church and agency details.
  5. Assist with enquiries and dissemination of information regarding Accreditation and Endorsement and Marriage Licence policies, including initial advice to enquiries on Accreditation and Endorsement pathways.
  6. Coordinate interviews and appointments related to Accreditation and Endorsement and a calendar of training events for Accreditation, Endorsement, Supervision and Marriage Licensing.
  7. Organisation of records, including both electronic and hard-copy filing.
  8. Assist the Safe Places Coordinator in providing specific advice to affiliated churches and agencies on relevant risk management and duty of care issues.
  9. Contribute to the ongoing development of CCVT Safe Places Policy and Procedures as well as any other related policy and procedure.
  10. Implementing the Redbook risk management resources for affiliated churches and agencies.
  11. Organisation of records, including both electronic and hard-copy filing.
  12. Provide assistance as required, to the broader CCVT administrative support team through answering phone calls, data requests, event assistance for the annual CCVT Summit and integrate with other administrative functions in CCVT.


  • An understanding of the ministry dimension of the leadership roles carried by the executive staff.
  • A willingness to adopt the core values and vision of CCVT Inc as expressed in the operation of the Churches of Christ.
  • Familiarity with, and understanding of, Churches of Christ - or a willingness to develop an understanding.
  • A willingness to be flexible within a team environment, acknowledging that as a team we seek to be adaptive and responsive, with position descriptions seen as 'living' rather than static documents.
  • The ability to actively contribute to positive relationships.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in operating Microsoft Office, and necessary software.
  • Ability to handle correspondence, reports and mailings promptly and efficiently.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate events and attend when necessary.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative in fulfilling the purpose and responsibilities of the role.
  • Maintain confidentiality on all matters of CCVT business.
