Scripture Union Queensland is a Christian not-for-profit with a heart for youth and children. We are the largest provider of school chaplains in Australia, and each chaplain is uniquely placed to support our children and young people as they navigate life’s increasingly complex issues. We run camps, community outreach events and At-Risk Youth programs, and offer nationally recognised training in youth work.

About the role
The Vocational Training Delivery Manager’s responsibility is to manage the SU QLD Registered Training Organisation (30548) including the training assessment and nurturing of course participants in Cert IV and Diploma Courses conducted by the SU QLD (RTO). Ensure ongoing compliance of all aspects of the RTO and VET student loans including systems, processes and services are compliant and contribute to continuous improvement.

This is a full time role though four days per week may be considered.

The ideal candidate will have

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a current understanding of the training sector in Australia
  • TAE40110 (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) and/or a bachelor or higher level qualification in adult education
  • Demonstrated experience or significant exposure to compliance requirements within an RTO environment
  • Experience with RTO specific technical systems preferred
  • Experience in a not-for-profit environment preferred
  • Qualifications in Youth Work or Community Services and/or recent industry experience would be beneficial but not required
