Now over 175 years old the Fresh Hope (Churches of Christ in NSW) consists of a network of over 90 churches. As a not-for-profit Christian organisation our key agencies in NSW include Living Care, CareWorks, The Tops Conference Centre and Mission & Ministry which provide a range of services to support the sectors of aged care, social and community welfare, hospitality and ministry to leaders and churches.

Your new role as Executive Assistant is a pivotal part of Fresh Hope’s Leadership team. As a key contact within the organisation, you will utilise your experience and exceptional communication skills to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Ministry Director and Director of Group Operations.

Your main responsibilities will include supporting the Directors by:

  • Facilitating calendar and diary management, arranging meetings and conference calls;
  • Recording and maintaining digital records of strategic documentation, meeting minutes (minute taking) and outcomes, and relevant Executive or Board information collected in a clear, consistent and confidential manner, including storage, retrieval, archiving and disposal;
  • Directly coordinating administration tasks as directed by Executives or delegate as required, including support with events, communications, research, filing, scanning, printing, stationery ordering or various other support activities;
  • Effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders including other Directors, senior management and Executive Assistants across Fresh Hope.

To be successful in your new role you will need to demonstrate:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with knowledge and experience in matters of a confidential nature;
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills;
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications;
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience;
  • Experience in an executive assistant role for a minimum period of two years;
  • Highly developed time management and problem solving skills with an ability to prioritise work;
  • Experience in working with various levels of management and in dealing with a range of representatives and other stakeholders;
  • Strong Christian faith alignment and commitment to values of the organisation.

Remuneration is based on experience. As an additional benefit there is a tax free component of your remuneration available under the Public Benevolent Institution.
