A position exists for an experienced Outdoor Education
manager with Queensland Conference and Camping Centres (QCCC) to oversee and
guide an era of transformation and innovation with one of Queensland’s largest
providers of Outdoor and Experiential education on the Sunshine Coast. QCCC has
two Sunshine Coast venues (Mapleton and Noosa) as well as Sunshine Coast based
Expeditions programs, catering to more than 30,000 guests annually. The
Triballink Aboriginal Activity Centre is also located at QCCC Mapleton.
The successful applicant will oversee QCCC’s Outdoor
Education ministry through a bold era of change, innovation, and growth. QCCC’s
Program Department can have up to 25-staff in the field in any given week. The
Supervisor will be responsible to manage QCCC’s Outdoor Education programs on
the Sunshine Coast and will need significant experience in staff management,
OH&S and risk management and innovation in approach, activities, and
technology.
A generous remuneration package will be negotiated with the
applicant, including the potential for onsite accommodation at QCCC Mapleton.
