Christian Youth Camps Burleigh is a
practical mission arm of the Christian Community Churches of South East QLD. The Campsite is situated adjacent to
the Burleigh Heads National Park, in the heart of the Gold Coast and facilitates
school camps, holiday camps and corporate adventures all year round.
About
the Opportunity
Christian
Youth Camps (CYC) Burleigh, currently has an exciting position available
for an exceptional catering manager. Due
to growth in our schools program, the successful applicant has the 0pportunity
to influence all aspects of our food service.
Reporting
to the Catering Manager and working within a close-knit team, the primary
purpose of this role will be to work within the catering department as they
provide a calm and rewarding experience through varied, visually appealing and
healthy meals at a reasonable cost in a clean and pleasant environment.
This role is a full-time
position, with limited weekend work. An attractive remuneration package will be
offered in line with skills and experience.

Preparation, Cooking and service
o Prepare,
cook and serve meals

of and response to safety issues and potential hazards
- Cleaning
and Hygiene
o Implementation
of cleaning schedules and processes
- Ministry
o Contribution
to and participation in, the wider ministry of CYC
Key Requirements
- Outstanding
Christian character with a mature faith and a passion for sharing the Gospel with
children. An active involvement with a local church would usually be
demonstrated
- Qualified
chef or similar
- Current
Blue Card (working with Children)
- Current
Manual Driver’s License
