About the Organisation

Founded in 2004, HealthServe Australia is a Christian not-for-profit organization working to support healthcare globally.  

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Officer and working with a small team, the Program Officer role involves working closely with our HealthServe Australia partners both in Australia and overseas to coordinate a portfolio of health focused projects across Africa, Asia and the Pacific. This is a part-time position, 6 hours per week, designed to complement a very active executive committee.

Skills Knowledge and Experience

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience working cross-culturally
• Strong computer skills with a good understanding of Microsoft office, excel and other standard software programs
• Demonstrated collaboration and team-building skills.
• An ability to drive process and system improvements
• A sympathy and appreciation for the Christian worldview

Ideally you will also have experience in a similar position and/or completed study in international development or public health.    

The position is available from the 6^th February 2021.
