About this Role

The focus of this role is to be responsible for managing and supporting our data systems and assisting to provide IT/Broadcast support.

This role works closely with the Head of IT & Communications and key internal stakeholders to provide data support, reporting, analysis and input into the data roadmap for improving our data capabilities across the organisation.        

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage data system, security and integrity
  • Report and dashboard creation and maintenance
  • Data quality and maintenance
  • Identify, prioritise, and implement data & system changes
  • Support for Salesforce Users
  • Provide IT/Broadcast support as necessary

Tasks include:

Maintain Salesforce System, Security and Integrity

  • Grant/remove and maintain user licenses
  • Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels
  • Design, create and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies
  • Advice and training for staff as necessary

Report and Dashboard Creation and Maintenance

  • Liaise with stakeholders to build complex custom reports
  • Create and maintain Fundraising Campaign dashboards and reports
  • Assist staff to generate reports
  • Review accuracy and provide feedback to staff on reports generated

Data Quality, Maintenance & Changes

  • Develop an understanding of business programs and systems to appropriately input data and allow staff to generate clean, accurate reports
  • Support staff as necessary in the use of approved applications
  • Participate in monthly Data Roadmap meetings and work on actions as necessary
  • Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes.
  • Liaise with external supplier and developers for improvements to the system
  • Handle ongoing customization and integration of Salesforce with other systems

Provide IT/Broadcast support as necessary

  • Provide support for staff data-related requests
  • Assist with IT Support Helpdesk
  • Assist with providing Broadcast support as necessary

Key Selection Criteria

  • Salesforce certification desired but not essential (ADM 201 certification)
  • Experience in database design/programming preferred
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Experienced in information systems design
  • Some programming experience preferred
  • Experience as a hands-on Salesforce Administrator which a focus on data management preferred
  • WebService/API knowledge
  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard reporting functionality preferred
  • Experience providing IT support
  • Alignment with PositiveMedia vision and values
