Job description:

At Empart, marketing is about understanding people, building awareness of our mission and programs and finding creative ways to connect people with our story.   We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who is hungry to do this and more. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. You will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, willing to roll your sleeves up to get things done and highly competent in creating and executing a long-term strategy. You will love having to “find a way” to make things happen, while thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. Objectives of this Role

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Analyse partner insights, trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Lead the marketing team which consists of internal staff, volunteers, contractors and external suppliers, fostering collaboration and team work across our wider team.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Working in partnership with the creative team, develop ideas, creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-¬≠facing communications, including print, digital, video, social media and event collateral on time and within budget constraints
  • Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and partner lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
  • Manage content and updates for partner and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes and partnership journey
  • Gather partner and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase partner engagement, and generate more qualified leads
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  • Be our corporate branding expert, developing and managing the ongoing story that we tell and keeping all aspects of our communication fresh and relevant

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in ideation, developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in marketing or related field and at least 3 years + management experience leading marketing teams.

The role reports directly to the CEO.

Hours Assigned:
  Full time 

Location of Work:   Eastern suburbs, Melbourne based.
