Key Responsibilities:

This is an existing role that primarily provides administrative assistance to the office of Jossy Chacko, the Founder and International President of Empart on a part time basis in all aspects the office including organizing and managing:

·    Correspondence and Communications

·    Travel Coordination (including managing visa requirements, flight bookings and any insurance matters)

·    Itinerary development and liaison for partners travelling to the field

·    Co-ordinate and manage meetings and event bookings

·    Record Keeping

·    Working in collaboration with the book keeper, collate expense reports, receipts and      co ordinate reimbursements. 

·    Aid in the preparation and distribution of board papers.  

·    Research

·    Assistance to the Board for governance, NFP compliance and reporting requirements for regulators.

·    Strategic Relationship Management

·    Writing/ Editing initiatives such as editing reports, proof reading etc.

This role is responsible for liaising with local and international contacts as well as administration, coordination and correspondence that will contribute to ministry objectives, maximize strategic external ministry relations and strengthen current operations.

Personal Attributes:

·    Must be courteous, polite and have a welcoming demeanour

·    Positive attitude and displays initiative

·    Organised and high attention to detail

·    Able to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a small team

·    A good blend of task and people focus

·    High level of integrity and upholds confidentiality

Education and Experience:

·    Minimum 5+ years experience in non profit or business environment.

·    Would be advantageous to have intermediate experience with Xero accounting system.

·    Proven experience in administration systems and processes

·    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·    Experience and competence using Microsoft applications and CRM platforms

The role reports directly to Jenni Chacko – Co-Founder, Empart.

Hours Assigned:   Part time. Ideally the role is for 25-30 hours per week spread over 5 days.

Location of Work:   Eastern suburbs, Melbourne based.
