About Us
The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is an international Christian
organisation working towards the eradication of the causes and consequences of
leprosy. We are a global network of organisations active in 34 countries around the world. We work in partnership with governments,
local communities, health organisations, the World Health Organisation (WHO),
local Government Organisations, Non-Government Organisations (NGOs), local
churches, Christian partners and many others to achieve our vision of “Leprosy
Defeated. Lives Transformed”. Through resourcing and supporting our global
networks, our mission strives to break the chains of leprosy, empowering people
to obtain healing, dignity and life in all its fullness.
The Role
The Leprosy Mission Australia seeks to appoint (an
independent) Non-Executive Finance Director to work closely with the Board and
chair the Finance and Audit Committee for a minimum term of three years.
This volunteer role requires attending approximately five
Board meetings and at least two Board committee meetings at least four times
each year.
Candidates will need to demonstrate that they possess the relevant
qualifications and extensive experience in relation to:

Boards and governance processes
·
Financial reporting requirements of a not for
profit organisation
·
Appropriate technical qualifications
·
NFP sector experience
